ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Ensures business deposits are opened properly and within established policies and procedures. Generates and maintains required loans documentation to ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements. Keeps lenders and management aware of documentation exceptions. Sets up member and account information on financial institutions core operating systems and disburses proceeds after the loan has been closed. Reviews approved credit memos to understand the type and structure of the loan in order to correctly identify the necessary loan documents and fund the loan accurately and in a timely manner. Ensures final title policies are received and reviewed for accuracy. Conducts post funding reviews, and cross checks core systems to ensure the loan is booked correctly. Maintains credit and collateral files and tracks file documentation. Ensures all required documentation is in the credit file. Coordinates loan closings and assists members in lenders absence. Performs processing functions for commercial loans from receipt of loan application through preparation of initial loan documents, closing loan documents, funding, and boarding on core system. This position provides administrative and credit support in the processing and administration of commercial and commercial real estate loans. The role will include a variety of related duties, which may include support for key initiatives with commercial loan processing and member business account service. The BS Specialist processes commercial loans and assists the Retail Team in opening business deposit accounts.
